Renee says: “Without a doubt, some of the best Vintage Czechoslovakian glass buttons I’ve created earrings with in a long time…I do not hesitate to call this pair: Green Lovers Delight! Set as always in solid sterling silver, these deep, shiny green with  buttons with flashes of silver are remarkable buttons. They are not small buttons, rather what I would classify as medium size-See reference next to Australian 2.00 coin. I have dangled these from my newer sterling silver spiral ear wire, for added effect. Scroll thru’ images for up close peek at these one of a kind treasures!”

About Vintage Czechoslovakian Glass Buttons:

The majority of glass buttons made during the 20th century were made in what is now Czechoslovakia, handmade by skilled button makers. In 1918 to mid 1940’s era, popular styles of glass buttons include pictorial, cut crystal and realistic which is like pictorials. Art Deco styles started to appear during the Art Deco period. Through the years the button production slowed, especially during WW2, and then started again and skilled button makers refined their skills. Some of the most beautiful, colorful glass buttons came from Czechoslovakia. Today many vintage glass buttons are referred to as Czech glass.

Rave Review:

I received a lovely pair of earrings from my sister. They came from Renee Blackwell Design, Queensland, Australia. They are so very elegant, so classy that they will be my go-to earrings. I have known Renee for many years and have other pieces she has made, and they are the most unique and special pieces that I own. When I wear them, I always get the nicest compliments! Janet
