By petite, I mean much smaller than most of the antique buttons I have used in the past. The buttons in this collection are about the size of an Australian 1.00 coin, see photos for size reference. I’m calling this piece: “Woman in Hat” a uniquely charming & delightful piece. I have “Colour Washed” the button in rich shades of blue, green & black, then rubbed back to achieve an “old world” look/patina. Set as always in solid sterling silver, this can be worn with the leather cord (included), silver chain, cuff or pearls. I have sourced the buttons in France, England and South America, hand selected for their uniqueness & interest. I have “Colour Washed” the buttons with a permanent metal paint, which is similar to an enamel.
