Renee says: “I do not hesitate to call a serious “Collectors Alert” for this stunning, one of a kind vintage Czechoslovakian button pendant. The button is large (see dimensions below), making for a real statement piece. I have added a super shimmery/shiny Peacock blue Swarovski crystal for added bling. Set as always in solid sterling silver, this piece looks great with a silver cuff, chain, leather cord or pearls. Wear it dressy, casual or in between for ultimate versatility. The button is a deep, rich blue with overtones of purple…it actually looks like velvet! I guarantee without a doubt, you will love this one of a kind pendant, fresh from the studio.  Vintage button pendants…treasures from a by gone era to cherish today. About Vintage Czechoslovakian Glass Buttons:

The majority of glass buttons made during the 20th century were made in what is now Czechoslovakia, handmade by skilled button makers. In 1918 to mid 1940’s era, popular styles of glass buttons include pictorial, cut crystal and realistic which is like pictorials. Art Deco styles started to appear during the Art Deco period. Through the years the button production slowed, especially during WW2, and then started again and skilled button makers refined their skills. Some of the most beautiful, colorful glass buttons came from Czechoslovakia. Today many vintage glass buttons are referred to as Czech glass.
