Renee says: “One of the things I enjoy the most, is creating with unique and beautiful vintage buttons, and turning them into glorious earrings. Set as always in sterling silver, these glass Czechoslovakian buttons are a deep pewter/black colour with a nice pattern/design. I’ve dangled these from my medium length sterling silver ear wire with a nice floral detail at the top. This is a pair that you will reach for over and over, never dating or going out of style. One remarkable pair fresh from the studio, now on a terrific Flash Sale. Vintage button earrings…treasures from a by gone era to cherish today! Scroll thru’ photos for up close peek.”

About Vintage Czechoslovakian Glass Buttons:

The majority of glass buttons created during the 20th century were made in what is now the Czech Republic, handmade by skilled button makers. In 1918 to mid 1940’s era, popular styles of glass buttons include pictorial, cut crystal and realistic which is like pictorials. Art Deco styles started to appear during the Art Deco period. Through the years the button production slowed, especially during WW2, and then started again and skilled button makers refined their skills. Some of the most beautiful, colorful glass buttons came from Czechoslovakia. Today many vintage glass buttons are referred to as Czech glass.
